Analysis of a CIS Navy 50 Bd FSK intercept: the post breaks down standard transmission features alongside distinctive operational details such as a 700 Hz frequency shift and a CW Morse preamble signaling high-priority traffic.

Quick test of Skywave Web SDR. The server sends compressed IQ, your browser does the demodulation. Runs on a Raspberry Pi, tested to 256 listeners.

Right now it's playing an AO-40 pass I recorded 23 years ago on pi day 2003, with the @rfspace SDR-14.

2026-07-26. Reception of the ICARUS animal tracking signal from the Russian segment of the 🛰️ISS on 468.100 MHz. According to Wikipedia the project on the ISS ended in 2022 and transferred to other satellites but it appears to still be active. Thanks @PeterVogel for the heads-up

My first HRPT image from 🛰️Meteor-M N2-3 on L-band, thanks to the complete absence of FM stations radio links on 1.7 GHz at my summer QTH in Chalkidiki, 🇬🇷. Nothing special, just the Sahara Desert, due to my view only to the South and clumsy manual tracking, but I’m really happy!
