CODE300-32 Standard is a software solution to demodulate, decode and analyze digital signals transmitted via radio. Our software don’t requires special hrdware part for processing the signal. The audio signal can come from traditional receivers and handled with a common soud card already included on all PC and Notebook, SDR receivers, signal recorded and stored in a standard audio file, it is also possible to use audio signals from the LAN, signals in I/Q format, and digital audio signals from virtual soundcard.

A brief description with the most important technical details:

Real Multitasking: open as many decoding modules and tools as necessary at the same time.
No Hardware required: you only need the sound card of your pc, nothing more!
Multi-Channel:use both channels L and R of any sound device to enable completely independent decoding from two different audio sources.
Hard disk Recording: simultaneously with any decoding module.
Automatic Audio Recording: with ‘Graphical Squelch’
Operating systems supported: Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windos XP, Windows 7 (32 and 64Bit), Windows 8/8.1 (32 and 64Bit) , Windows 10 (32 and 64Bit)
Fully Remote controllable by TCPIP: via Intra- and Inter Net. Up to 256 decoders controllable from one place.
Buffered input: all incoming raw data is stored in a BIT-BUFFER. With the bit-buffer it is possible to review what a signal did as far back in time
Felexible solution: due to the software-only solution, any notebook with a sound input becomes a super decoder analyzer.

CODE300-32 is a software based demodulator, decoder, and analyzer which runs under all actual Microsoft Windows operating systems. This program is part of a new generation of data decoder analysers and follows the well known DOS based decoders CODE3.

The program uses the integrated sound device(s) availabe on all modern PC while running under Windows as the AD/DA device. The software does not need an expansion slot nor any dedicated hardware to work. This solution is the most flexible way to use the decoder on any PC or notebook. Some of the modern sound devices offer very good performance when compared with industrial AD cards.

So in our opinion the PC with its cheap but very good hardware is the ideal solution for a modern state of the art data decoder analyser.

CODE300-32 keeps our long experience with software based DSP, every module, analysis or decoding, is completely independent and can be used stand-alone. This offers a complete new world in utility decoding. The program uses the soundcards left input channel as its main source but any additional module can be switched to the other input channel or remain listening to the main input. This allows the decoder to run multiple modules from two independent sources. As an example a MORSE decoder is running together with a SITOR decoder on left channel audio input to enable decoding both types of traffic without a switching gap or manually users handling. The second channel input decodes a VHF PAGER system like POCSAG at the same time. But you might miss a FLEX message, no problem open a FLEX module too and select the right input source. While any module is open the main FFT window is always running for tuning control and signal checking.

Besides this the new CODE300-32 includes also a sophisticated audio recorder with some unique functions: you can record one or both channels completely independent from the decoding modules and then at a later time play these back into the decoder and perform more tasks as-if the signals were live data. The data format can be specified in the decoder set-up but for most users 11 kHz and 16 bit MONO do just fine. Note this is in standard WAV format so you are free to use the audio with other programs or it can be stored as a reference for future use

The Extended version offers the same modes and tools as the standard version, plus some important additional features:

Codan Package: Codan 9001/3012 Data, Codan Chirp selcall, Codan binary converter
PACTOR III (HOKA)
CHN 4+4
Up to 20 modes twice: you can start completely independent many decoding module two times
Up to 8 different decoders: can run on left or right input.
Start the extended version “twice”: you have an 4 channel input decoder / analyzer (a second sound device is necessary)
Optional Mode : available as option for CODE300-32 Extened PACTOR I, II, III, IV Clover II, and Clover 2000

In this way your PC becomes a super decoder analyzer with up 20 decoding modes running at the same time! Production work is made easy and cheaper as never before! Automatic Audio recording with graphical squelch, automatic text search facilities, whatever a professional user is looking for, it is included here. Audio input by LAN for two channels, with a completely free choice of the sampling frequency allows full integration of this version into larger systems and direct connection to digital wideband receivers without the need of re-sampling. All functions and tools are remote controllable by TCP/IP.

A brief description with the most important technical details.

Code300-32 Extended allows the running of two sessions of the program at the same time. This means that with two audio cards the system can handle up to 4 audio channels simultaneously: One could have two receivers, one into the Right (R) channel and the other into the Left (L) channel of the LINE IN input socket of the first audio card and the same configuration for the second audio card.

4 Receivers configuration

Two receivers are connected to the first audio card (left and right channels of the LINE IN). Two receivers are connected to the second audio card with the same configuration. Running the decoder, the input channel can be selected from both the control panel and from any of the analysis/decoding tools. All the operations can be performed simultaneously even when using many tools at the same time. A few examples :

Audio card 1: Left channel Baudot and Right channel Sitor
Audio card 2: Left channel HFDL and Right channel MIL188-110 39 Tones
Audio card 1: Left channel MIL188-110 Serial and MIL188-141A (ALE), Right channel Stanag 4285
Audio card 2: Left channel SKYFAX and MIL188-141A (ALE), Right channel Coquelet 8 and CW
Audio card 1: Left channel Pactor II, Right channel Pactor II
Audio card 2: Left channel Pactor II, Right channel Pactor II

In this way we can follow the entire traffic of two different networks.
Code300-32 Extended can run two completely independent sessions of the same decoding mode, this unique characteristic can be utilised on approximately 20 different modes.
For example, you can open two sessions of the MIL188-110 decoding mode receiving a station with two different receivers/aerials (tuned on the same frequency) thus utilizing space or polarisation diversity. Or you can follow a network using the same mode on two different frequencies exactly like having two different decoders. You can use up to 8 different decoding modes at the same time on both channels.

In the Extended version you can open two simultaneous independent sessions of the following modes:

ARQE ARQ IRA ASCII Baudot CW
FLEX GMDSS HFDL Mil 188-110 serial	M 188-110 39 tone
Mil 188-141 ALE Pactor I	Pactor II	Packet POCSAG
PSK31 Sitor STANAG 4285	STANAG 4529 Skyfax
CODAN 16 Codan CHIRP	** Pactor III M	** Clover 2 M ** Clover 2000 M

** these modes are optional available only
